It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Lloyd-Jones.
Born in Nelson, B.C. to Eldon and Dorothy Waterer and passed away at home in Terrace surrounded by family after a brief illness with cancer.
Judy is survived by her husband Clayton, daughters Stephanie (Michael) Johnson, and Erica Lloyd-Jones, six grandchildren, sister Marylyn Linton, twin brother John Waterer (Margot), brother George Waterer and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by daughter Alesia Lloyd-Jones.
Judy was well known for her banana cream pies, butter tarts and a good game of Rummy-O. She put 100% into any task she started and always got sh*t done. If you wanted something accomplished you got Judy on the job! An active spectator and audience member "Nana" was always there to cheer on and support her grandchildren. Always up for a walk with friends at Ferry Island Judy was never one to sit idle. We will miss her energy and exuberance for life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
