On September 29, 2022 John Joseph Kennedy slipped away peacefully with family by his side. Heartfelt sadness felt by his wife Joanne; children Shannon (Gord), Sean (Claudia) and youngest sister Kathleen.
John was predeceased by his parents Nora and Denis Kennedy, brother Denis and sister Nora. He was uncle to nephews and nieces in Canada and Australia. Also, his union buddies and close friends, where his Irish smile and friendly greetings will be so missed. John was both loyal and proud to be a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters local 452. He later served as a business agent and he was very grateful to have been able to serve his fellow carpenters.
A longtime local on the West Beach side in White Rock where in his earlier years served as a volunteer fireman.
John was born in Ireland and as the Irish Blessing says: And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.” See you Dad!
