John died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, with his wife Linda at his side.
John was an orchardist and owned Beaven's Cannery. He was a resident of Summerland for the past 69 years.
He is survived by his wife Linda, sister Barbara, nieces and nephews, and many great friends.
There will be no service, at John and Linda's request.

He died as he lived - any old port in a storm.
