With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Clarence Walker, Born October 10, 1939, Who passed away June 28, 2025 at home, at age 85.
John is survived by his loving wife Vivian Walker, his son John Iverson (Cindy), and his daughter Wendy Volmert (John). His Grandchildren, Melissa (Shawn), Tracey, Laurene (Christine), Travis (Saxon), Mitch, Mike, and Haley. His Great Grandchildren Maylie, Archer, and Adrian. His sisters, Mae Doidge (Bill), Darlene Robinson (Rob), Barbara Yablonski. He also had a large extended family of Vivian's, including her 3 sons, Arnold, Steve, and Greg Kleemair and their children. There are also nieces and nephews who all adored him.
John is predeceased by his wife Dianne Walker, his Mom, Helen Walker, his Dad Robert (Joe) Walker, and his Step-Mom, Lit Walker. His brothers, Bob Walker and Jim Walker.
John's trade was as a Sheet Metal Worker, he has many prize projects that he did as a young man in the industry that are still so admired and beautify Victoria even today.
In John's later years prior to retirement, he worked with the Roofing Industry, both in Calgary and later in Salmon Arm, where he retired... John enjoyed every day and loved what he did. You are so loved John - Rest in peace my love.
