In Loving Memory ~
It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the peaceful passing of Janny (Jane) Ryper. Janny took her final steps on earth and was welcomed into her 'heavenly home' on January 5, 2025, at the age of 96.
A beloved wife to Henk, who preceded her in death, 2018. Janny carried their love in her heart every day. Janny was predeceased by her son, Henry (1991), and son-in-law, Albert (2023).
She leaves behind her children, Anna, John & Rita, Wilma & Jack, Joanne & Roy, Sharon & Dan, Sandra & Mel, Jennifer, Noella & Tim and Heidi & Jarvis, and siblings Nell, Bert and Pat, John and Lynn.
More than 80 were privileged to call her Grandma, Old Oma, Great-Grandma, Super Grandma, Old Grandma or Janny "(pronounced Yawny)" What a legacy!
A celebration of Janny's life will take place Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 1:00pm, Greenwood Cemetery followed by a celebration service at 1:30 pm at Alberni Valley Christian Reformed Church, 5033 Roger Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Abbeyfield, Port Alberni, 3839 8th Ave, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 8J6.
