Born in Cumberland General Hospital Jacquie was predeceased by her parents James (Skipper) Murray and Sally Nichol, brothers Jimmy and Bobby. She will be sadly missed by her husband Dennis (58 years), children Dennis (Marni), Terry (Lisa), Salli (Howard). Grandchildren Ashley (Ally), Jessica, Denise (Colton), Lucas and Ethan, and her beloved Snoopy Cat. Also, by her many friends, relatives and colleagues at Shoppers Drug Mart where she worked for Forty years.
Jacquie spent her childhood years in Bevan where her parents owned the Bevan Hotel. She attended Bevan School until Grade 6 then bused into Cumberland. Her family moved to Cumberland in 1961 where she spent her whole life. She enjoyed the Old Cumberland soccer-softball games which her kids were all a part of. Jacquie volunteered for many years with the CRI. She enjoyed working in the garden and walking 8 - 12 km in the trails behind town with Dennis. They spent many hours and days at their cabin on Comox Lake.
She will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
