In loving memory ~
It is with great sorrow that we, the families of our beloved "Gran", announce her passing on June 12, 2023, two months shy of her 104th birthday.
Iris had both daughter Heather and son Fred by her bedside in her final moments.
Iris was pre-deceased by her best friend and husband Fred Moon Sr. who died in 1970, and by many friends and family members.
Iris is survived by:
Her eldest son Spence (Marcia); their son Ian (Wanda) children Armand and Coraleigh; their daughter Gillian.
Her second son AI (Linda); their daughter Winter (Jason) children Cooper, Jasmine and Caleb; their daughter Kelly (Mike) children Daxton and Parker.
Her daughter Heather (Tony); their son Michael; their son Jamie (Breyan).
Her youngest son Fred (Shirley); their daughter Michelle (Tyler) children Harvey and Macallan; their son Kenny (Emily) children Scarlett and Talia.
Her sister Annot Lyle Rattray
Her sister-in-law Sylvia Moon
Recognition and special thanks to the staff and caregivers who gave Gran such wonderful and respectful care at the Menno Home West 2 for the past 6 years.
A private interment will be held at the Mission Cemetery.
