It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a dear husband, son and father, Ian James Sydney Baker. Born January 22, 1966 in New Westminster, B.C. and died October 26, 2022 in Vernon, B.C. of Melanoma.
He leaves his loving wife Jennifer Lee Zeller and her two girls Ava and Madelaine and family; Emily, mother of his children Maya and Colin and family; parents James and Anita Baker, sister Candus (Lee), brothers Jason, Cameron and Malcolm (Lori) and their children Cormac and Lyla as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ian graduated from George Elliot High School in Lake Country, became a qualified electrician and had his own business, working mostly between Vernon and Kelowna. Hockey was his life-long passion.
A celebration of life will be held for Ian on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Oyama Community Hall at 15710 Oyama Rd, from 1 - 4 pm.
