December 22, 2022
Born in Vancouver in 1950, Sue died peacefully on December 22, 2022 in Surrey, BC.
Sue brightened everyone's day with her sparkly hats, friendly nature and, above all, her thoughtfulness. There wasn't a person she met along the way nor a birthday she'd ever forget.
Predeceased by her father Earl in 1971 and mother Merle in 2008, she is survived and lovingly remembered every day by her brothers Ian and Roy (Joan), sister Gloria (Zenon), nephew Keith and their families and friends.
She is also remembered fondly by the entire neighborhood of Newton in which she lived and made better for almost 35 years. She had numerous friends there including her honorary granddaughters Natalie and Danica, their parents as well as her caring friend and neighbor Linda.
Many thanks to the staff of the Melville Hospice for making her final weeks peaceful and to her wonderful friends and the staff at Peninsula Retirement Residence for their warmth, compassion and hard work.
A special thank you to her nephew Keith for his tireless work in getting his beloved aunt Sue to her appointments, out shopping, visiting over lunches and going for drives.
"When we see a star glittering bright,
we'll know that you have found the light"

We love and miss you deeply Sue.
