HENRY DAVISON, born Sunday, March 2, 1913 in Enderby, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong, B.C., at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his wife Ruby, son Robert, both parents, and sister and brothers. Henry is survived by: his daughters, Christine Belcher of Gibsons, B.C.; Holly (Clarence) File of 70 Mile House, B.C.; Wanda (Alf) Fowler of Armstrong, B.C.; Sandra Lindblom of Calgary, Alberta; and also nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Henry was a lifelong resident of the area. On August 24, 1934, he married Ruby (nee Baird). Together, they farmed in Deep Creek starting in 1936 and stayed until 1969 when they moved to Fortune Road farm. They lived there until a few years ago. Henry enjoyed farming, logging, hunting, fishing, gardening and travelling. He was involved in the Deep Creek Farmers Institute and activities in that community for many years. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2002 from the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lorraine Powell officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Mountain View Tea Room. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Henry may do so to PV Manor 3300 Patten Drive, Armstrong, V0E 1B2.
