Helen Carol Mary Schultz, aged 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Trillium Lodge in Parksville, BC. Helen was born in Port Arthur, Ontario, Oct. 2, 1939 to Jean and Neil Kerr. She spent her school years in Yellowknife, NWT, where she met her future husband, and attended Alberta College Secretarial school in Edmonton, AB. She worked and raised her family in Grande Prairie, AB before retiring to Parksville, BC.
Helen enjoyed crafts including cross stitching and card making and was an avid weaver. She had fun being a snowbird and RV traveling with her husband and dogs for many years. Helen was always visiting and socializing with other travelers and with all her friends in the neighborhood.
Helen is predeceased by her sisters Lynn Dombrova and Neila Schmidt. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George; daughter, Shirley (Steve) White; son, Bruce (Susan) Schultz; grandson, Bryce (Robyn) Schultz; granddaughter, Laine (Chris) Landry; and great grandson, Benny Landry.
