In Loving Memory ~
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Hans Heinrich Vetter of Parksville, BC passed away at the age of 89 years. Hans was born in Rastatt, Germany and came to Canada (Edmonton) in 1957 and married Francis nee Gossenberger. They were married until her passing in 2005.
They had two daughters; Susan Vetter-Siblock (predeceased husband, Robert Siblock) and Connie Sampson (David Sampson), and one grandson, Christopher Sampson (Laura Sampson). Also surviving family members; his sister-in-law, Heidi Peterson; nephews, Tony, and Casey; niece Cindy; and their respective families as well as family in Germany, Uwe Gerber, and family. Hans also had a very special friend, Nedi Harrison.
Hans began working for Werner’s Moving Service in the 70’s and purchased the company in the 80’s. He worked in his business until retirement in 2007. He then moved to Parksville, BC to be near family and enjoy the island life. He loved good food, travelling, friends, reading, and music.
Special thanks to the staff at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. A memorial service to honour Hans will be held at a later date.
