We are saddened to announce the passing of Grethe Larsen on January 25, 2024.
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in May 1953, where she met the love of her life (also a Dane) and was married in June 1954. After spending their working years in Kemano/Kitimat they retired to Comox.
Mom was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital Gift Shop and Comox Thrift Shop for many years. She loved her garden, Dad and her traveled all over the world and were often in Denmark visiting their daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom is predeceased by her husband Hans in 2021 and survived by her daughter Anita(Hans), son Lars, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
