It is with heavy hearts the family of Gordon Ford announce his passing on Sept 30/22. Gordon was born on the farm at Smeaton Sask on Feb 9/36.
On Oct 6/61 he married Christina Rasmussen. They had two children, Sarah Lynn and Darrell.
He was predeceased by his parents, son Darell on Aug 4/83, brothers Ken and Giffie.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Christina, daughter Sarah Lynn (Steve Plant), grandchildren Isaac and Sarah, sister Helen and brother Tom (Doreen) Nieces & Nephews.
Gordon & Christina moved to BC in 1962 where he started his logging career until he semi retired in 1984.
He always had to be working, restored old vehicles and joined old car club. Enjoyed curling in winter, he was quite competition. He loved his fishing trips to Bella Coola.
He had a stroke in Sept 2019 and his health declined after that.
Service to be held Oct 15/22 2pm St Andrews United Church.
