In loving memory ~
Gord was born and raised in Kitimat, to Ray and Melanie Fossl, a loving husband to Debbie and a devoted dad to Annelise (Gordon), Joshua and Kaitlyn (Jordan). He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Devon, Dominic and Logan. Gord is also survived by his mother Melanie, his siblings, Ron (Luci), Marian (Dave) and Norman (Debbie), his in-laws Bill and Celia, brother in-law Darren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Ray Fossl, his son Devon Fossl, and his nephew Gavin Besse.
Gord graduated in 1983 and then dedicated 38 years to the Kitimat Fish Hatchery, retiring in 2021. Raising fish was one of his greatest passions. He had a very positive impact on the day to day jobs of the Hatchery. Gord worked hard at everything he did and was always willing to help others, especially when it came to carpentry.
There are so many good memories, Gord was always joking and full of smiles. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors travelling the backroads, hunting with family and friends and a nice relaxing trip down the channel. We will all think of Gord whenever we hear Meatloaf playing. Gord was an honourable man with a 'what you see is what you get' nature, always putting family first. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Thank you to the doctors and hospital staff that respectfully took care of Gord in his time of need. Thank you all for your heartfelt condolences. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by love.

To My Best Friend Gord,
You were my world
you meant everything to me
The love I have for you now
will last eternally.
I miss your warmth, I miss your strength
I miss your lovely smile
I wish I could see your face again
even for a little while.
Thank you for your devoted love
that helps me through each day
and for all the precious memories
that will never fade away.
I hope that you have felt at peace
since we said goodbye
In my heart I know that we will
be together again in time
Please give our sweet Devon a hug from me.
With love and appreciation
Debbie
