Glen Douglas Storrings

August 16, 1942 – April 18, 2023
“The Warrior has Departed” ~ It is with heavy hearts we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our guardian brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many.
He was surrounded by his family at the time of his departure. He leaves behind brother’s Dennis, Murray, (Brenda), niece’s Marie Storrings, (Darren), Shelly, Emilee, Joel, nephew, and great niece Chelsey, (Mike), cousins, Wally, and Gary Doern, and their families, and many more cousins and friends.
Glen has been a warrior from birth, having the need to protect those he loved most. His loyalty to his brothers, family and friends will always be remembered. His early life is chronicled in the book published “The Storrings Brothers” 75 years in Canadian Foster Care and Prison. That will explain the journey of Glen and his brothers.
To so many his face will be recognized. His “character”, his kindness, his generosity will not be forgotten.
May we all trust in the Peace and Joy he is now experiencing, to be reunited with the love of his life Anne Banks, predeceased 2011, and his mother Eleanor Storrings, predeceased 1961.
Celebration of Life – come gather outdoors at Good friend, Louie Bayards, Louies Leather 22246 Selkirk Avenue, May 28th 1:00-3:00 pm.
