In Loving Memory ~
On November 2, 2022, Gertrude Martens slipped peacefully into the arms of her Saviour. After marrying Frank in Calgary, Alberta in 1946, they moved to Abbotsford, B.C. where they raised their family, all of whom delighted her and adored her. Predeceased by her husband Frank, son-in-law Don Peters, and grandson Scott Peters. Survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen Taylor (Bennie), Linda Peters and Kathleen Martens; grandchildren Mark Miller (Heather), Melanie Miller, Brian Peters (Monica), and Merrilee Reid (Noel) and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memories of a welcoming table filled with delicious cooking and baking fill our hearts. All of the people whose lives she touched will remember a warm and loving lady whose faith in God and graciousness in living are her legacy and an inspiration.
