In Loving Memory (July 1936-February 2023) ~
On February 9th Geri left us to join her mom and dad, Emily & Norman Manns and siblings; Bea ( Wayne), Audrey, Larry and Keith.
Those left to say goodbye with heavy hearts are her siblings; Terry (Georgie), Donna (Cy), in-laws George, Ethel and Jane. Also saying goodbye are children Lori (Ralph), Mark (Leslie), and her adored grandchildren; Chase (Bahiyyih), Stefan, Marlie (Lee), Rachel (Spencer), and Gemma.
Mom worked at a few different places; Eatons, Superette and BMO. In her forties she went back to school and with lots of hard work she earned her B.A. in Social Work. Mom was proud to be a social worker until she retired.
She enjoyed children, seeing them happy and safe was always her goal.
We know mom is with her family ( maybe singing low) with a sparkle in her eye. Maybe she is 5′ 11″ and 110 lbs. or she finally realizes that she was perfect in her whole 5′ 1 1/2″ frame.
We hear your voice

We feel your love
We miss you dearly
But know you are always close
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 1 to 4pm at the Bowen Park Clubhouse. (500 Bowen Road).
In lieu of flowers a donation to Loaves and Fishes would be appreciated.
