1971 - 2024

Geoff Fuoco passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Vernon, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his father Santo. Geoff will be forever loved and missed by his partner Jenn, son Hunter, mother Annette, brother Grant, stepchildren Cassie and Lucas, nieces Tia, Caylene and Allie, his aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many other relatives and good friends. Geoff's love of hockey was evident throughout his life. His goal was to make sure that anyone who wished to play the game could do so. He founded the Santo Fuoco Memorial Hockey Society and spent many years supporting youth in their love of hockey. He worked for CP Rail and was proud of those years. Most recently, Geoff worked for three years for the Columbia Shuswap Regional District as Manager of the Sicamous Arena - a job he was passionate about.

Geoff was also General Manager of the Thompson Blazers and was respective and devoted to that position given to him. He brought warmth, humour and a deep love for the game of hockey to the rink every day. He was proud to be a Blazer, and the team was proud to have him as their leader. Geoff's legacy will live on in the Blazers community and in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Geoff's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Kamloops and Vernon hospitals for the wonderful care given to Geoff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the B.C. Cancer Society, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 5L3, in memory of Geoff.
