August 21, 1951 – October 7, 2021
Our brother Gary William Wall passed away on October 7, 2021 in Toronto. Gary was born in Abbotsford on August 21, 1951, the eldest child of Jacob and Katie Wall.
Early years focused on the family farm, Ebenezer Church and high school at MEI where he was valedictorian and drama lead. He played the violin, sang in concert choirs and with the Amabilis Singers.
He matriculated at SFU with a major in Philosophy, taught ESL and spent time traveling and living throughout Europe. Ever inquisitive and with a love of learning, he spent much of his adult life pursuing his interests in philosophy, history and psychology, searching for his own independent inspiration.
He is survived by his siblings Alf, Betty, and Bruno, his niece Stephanie and his nephews Angus and Stuart and many cousins. May he find peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm on November 14, 2021 in the Mt Baker Room at the Clarion Hotel, 36035 North Parallel Road, Abbotsford, BC. All are welcome.
