December 9, 1932 - June 25, 2022
Ewald Ott went to his heavenly home on June 25, 2022. Ewald is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ott, and his two brothers, Edmund and Leo Ott. He has left behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins and friends.

Ewald was born on December 9, 1932 in Troutenhof, Germany. He was born to parents Martha and August Ott. After living through the 2nd world war in a polish concentration camp, Ewald moved to Manitoba, Canada in 1951.

In 1954, he moved to Vancouver where he met the love of his life, Joyce. Ewald worked at Fletcher Meats as a sausage maker for 43 years. Ewald and Joyce eventually bought a farm in Aldergrove and that is where they became true farmers.

Ewald loved his nieces and nephews coming to the farm, giving them tractor rides and teaching them to shoot their first rifle.

Ewald's passion in life was Joyce, the farm, family and his devotion to Christianity. Ewald was a very kind, generous and hard-working man. He was a very loving and supportive husband to Joyce for 67 years. Ewald was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends, especially his loving wife, Joyce. Farwell to our beloved Ewald, until we are once again reunited in Heaven. Ich Liebe Dich.

Joyce would like to honour the compassion and support her brother, Bob, and his wife, Randi, have given her during this difficult time.

Service, Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy. July 7, 2022, 10:00 AM.
