In Loving Memory
Eros M. Denning
March 31, 1942 – November 11, 2007
Eros has lost her battle against cancer.
A gentle, wise sister, aunt, and friend, a passionate, dedicated teacher at Nechako school for many years. She loved her family, friends, students, music, and travelling.
Eros was born in Australia and came to Kitimat for one year over forty years ago. Her undergraduate work was done in Brisbane and post graduate studies in Oregon, from where she graduated in 1976 with a Ph.D.
She is survived by two brothers, Llewellyn (Edna) and Earle (Madeleine); sister Delwyn (Dimitrije); aunts, nieces and nephews, mostly in Australia, as well as many friends there, in Europe and in Kitimat.
Her wisdom and inner strength were an inspiration to many.

Philosophy of Life
“It’s not what you are dealt in life,
but how you deal with what you are dealt.”
Eros’ family and friends thank all her colleagues and friends from the community for their prayers, love, support, hospital/home visits, cards, and flowers. It was much appreciated.
Special thanks to Dr. Mills, Jennifer Gorden, and the dedicated staff at Kitimat General Hospital.
