November 26, 1917 - January 10, 2022
Eric passed away January 10, 2022 at Mt. Ida Mews, Salmon Arm at the age of 104 years. He was born November 26, 1917 at St. Davids, Wales.
He was predeceased by his wife Vivian in 2001 and will be missed and lovingly remember by his son Hugh Evans, Scotland, daughter Norma Sheridan, Parksville, BC, grandsons Brendan and Gregory Sheridan.
Eric immigrated to Wilkie, SK April 23, 1928 at age 11. At 40 years old, he ran a propane business in Fort St. John, BC, before moving to Salmon Arm in 2000. He enjoyed golfing and was very good at it; even playing with the Pros.
He was a jokester in any circumstance and a generous person by heart; helping many in the Filipino community financially and also helping out others by randomly handing out gift cards for groceries.
Thank you to all the Dr.s and nurses at Mt. Ida Mews for the care given to Eric.
Eric has been buried at Mt. Ida Cemetery beside Vivian.
