In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Elsie. Special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Collins and the entire staff at Mountain Lake Seniors Community.

Elsie is survived by her son Barry (Cindy), her daughter, Lorelei, grandchildren Oliver (Amanda), Jacqueline (Rob) and great granddaughters Audrina and Arleigh.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred. She will rest easy now for she has reunited with her loving soulmate.

Family and friends meant the world to her. Besides gardening, picking huckleberries and mushrooms, she loved to cook. She was renowned for her homemade bread, pyrahi and homemade pies. So glad she shared these recipes with her son and daughter so that we can carry on her traditions.

She touched the hearts of everyone she met and was held in the highest regard by all who had the honour of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Momma, we thank you for your love and guidance throughout our lives. You are the end of an era that we will miss and cherish forever. We thank the universe for you! Amen

A wife, a mother, a sister too

This is the legacy we have from you.

You taught us love and how to fight,

You gave us strength, you gave us might.

A stronger person would be hard to find

And in your heart, you were always kind.

You fought for us all in one way or another,

Not just as a wife not just as a mother.

For all of us you gave your best,

Now the time has come for you to rest.

So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,

Your love in our heart, we'll eternally keep.
