Elsie was born in Edmonton, Alberta August 10, 1936 and passed away January 6, 2006 at 9:05 p.m. at the Hospice House in Vernon after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie Moseley of Red Deer Alberta, and by her husband Robert (Bob) Olson in 2001. Elsie was a long time resident of Enderby. She grew up in Red Deer, Alberta and lived in Edmonton for a few years before moving to Kelowna, and finally to Enderby. She is survived by 4 sisters and 2 brothers; Shirley (Gordon) Gibson, Surrey, BC, Rita (Paul) Smith, Sherwood Park, AB, Cheryl Pickering, Calgary, AB, Susan (Terry) Fair, Sherwood Park, AB, David Moseley, Edmonton, AB, Gordon Moseley, Red Deer, AB; 12 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Don and Gloria Cairns for all their support and help to Elsie the last few years. There will be no service at Elsie’s request. Cremation. Interment of cremated remains at Cliffside Cemetery, Enderby beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society in her name.
