December 3, 1948 - April 29, 2024
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Einar Johney Nohr on April 29th, 2024 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Einar was born on December 3,1948 to Tegner and Ethel Nohr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karen, their daughters Sonja (Nick), Holly and his cherished grandchildren: Nicole (Khash), Harley, Kennedy and Dawson.
His family and friends meant the world to him. He will be dearly missed by all.
He was predeceased by: his son, Harley Nohr, parents, Tegner Nohr and Ethel Nohr, father in law and mother in law, Swede and Noreen Stromquist, brothers: Bruce Nohr, Raymond Nohr, Ronald Nohr and sisters: Alice Bakken and Shirley Michaux, nephews: Trevor Nohr, Cody Nohr and niece Shawn Mussell.
The family would like to thank all of the Dr's and nurses in the Thoracics Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their tremendous care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Surrey Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on June1, 2024 at 1:00 pm. at the Chilliwack Curling Club.
