In loving memory ~
The children of Mrs. Eileen Eden want to share with you that she passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5th at Haven Hill Retirement Centre where she had lived for the past five years. Her family was at her side. She was 98 years of age.
Mom was a long-time member of the Summerland Ladies Legion Auxilary and had received a pin commemorating her 65 years of service.
Our mother was predeceased by her husband Pete (2009). Also predeceased by sons in law, Albert Proulx, John Dickinson, and Mark Kennedy.
She is survived by 2 siblings Glen and Bunny. Also survived by 8 children Penny Muzzillo, Linda Proulx, Allan (Sue), Kelly (Terri), Dee, (Ingrid), Susan Dickinson, Sandra Proulx (Robert and Bonnie Simenson (Todd); 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Our family wishes to thank the Haven Hill staff who worked so diligently to keep Mom as comfortable as possible.
There will be no formal funeral at Mom's request. Our family will gather in the summer at the Summerland Cemetery to lay Mom's ashes to rest beside her husband.
