In Loving Memory ~
On March 18th, Edward Lamont Ryhal of Watch Lake, B.C., passed away at 80 years of age. God has taken him to a more peaceful place and is now with his sister, mother, and father.
He will always be lovingly remembered by Linda, his wife of 55 years; his daughter Cathie Jo, and his wonderful grandchildren Zoe, Jamie, and Alex.
Born in Pennsylvania, Ed loved fishing, farming, and playing football. After serving two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne, Ed moved to Canada.
He worked for CanOcean Resources doing research and development. At age 45 Ed joined the R.C.M.P and spent 15 years serving the Richmond Detachment and the Steveston Community Police station.
Retirement brought Ed and Linda to Watch Lake to live with the wildlife, have time for hobbies and watch the grandchildren grow. Ed had a naturally giving nature and touched many people's lives.
He will be missed.
