Passed away August 8, 2022 in Agassiz, B.C.
Edna was born to William and Jessie Morris September 23 1921 in Oyen, Alberta. She moved to New Westminster early in 1940 where she
met and later married Henry January 31 1942.
When Henry was sent overseas he took Edna to Barrhead, Alberta to be near her sister, where her first son was born. Henry returned from the war in 1945, picked up Edna and their son and settled in Haney B.C. Here they lived and raised their family, Ron, Ted, Daryl and Robin for twenty years.
In 1966 they bought a fishing resort, Pinantan Lake near Kamloops embarking on a brand new adventure where they lived and worked until 1969 when they sold it. In 1970 they moved to Agassiz, finding their forever home. They took great pride in their acreage and gardens. Edna belonged to the United Church where she was a member of the Geneva Unit.
She enjoyed baking bread, buns, pies, cakes and cookies and her house always smelled so inviting. Edna loved having family gatherings at her house. She kept herself busy making quilts and over the years she created many colourful ones that she shared with all of us. Edna joined the friendship house where she had fun floor curling.
She especially enjoyed her many camping and fishing trips with family and friends. Edna spent her final years living in Cheam Village.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry (2012), sisters May and Gladys and her brothers Bob and Frank. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Ron (Sadea), Ted, Daryl (Gay) and daughter Robin Eaton (Dale) of Nova Scotia. Edna's grandchildren: Jim, Mike, Brock, Chad, Kari, Morgan, Blake and eleven great grandchildren were the greatest joy in her life.
Edna had a heart of gold and was loved by many.
