April 5, 1930 - May 12, 2025

In loving memory ~

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Earl (Bud) Adams.

He was predeceased by his wife Norma Adams (nee Arnet) and is survived by his sons Guy (Sandy), Brent (Dawn), daughter Ann, grandchildren Cole (Robyn and Kendyll), Madison, Jacob (Michaela), Errol (Danielle), great grandchildren Fletcher, Elizabeth, Olivia and his sisters Marion Webster and Peggy MacDonald.

Born in Elrose, Sask., to George and Margaret Adams, he enjoyed life on the farm prior to moving to Campbell River with his family in 1939 and was one of the true Willow Point pioneers. He spent the remainder of his life living in Willow Point and always felt blessed to be there.

He met a school teacher named Norma Arnet, who grew up in Tofino and married her on July 4, 1954. As a young man he worked alongside his father, building and running the Willow Point General Store, which he later developed into the Lucky Dollar Shopping Centre. He left the store business in 1972 to become a commercial fisherman. He fished many happy years with the vessels "Hermits Choice", and "Norann". A few years after the passing of Norma in 2011, he met Patricia Devries. They spent many happy years travelling and enjoying life together.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Dry, staff from Campbell River Hospital 3B and the staff at the Yucalta Lodge Hospice. All are welcome to join us for a Memorial Service at the Anglican Church on May 25th at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow at the Willow Point Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation and the First Open Heart Society - Campbell River Chapter.
