In Loving Memory ~
Dr. Gordon G. Melville of Nanaimo passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 93.
He is survived by his wife Carol of 68 years. He is also survived by his sons J. Bruce Melville, William Melville, Trevor Melville and daughter, Janine Higham. He has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Dr. Melville was a long-time resident of the Comox Valley where he was an optometrist practicing in Campbell River and Courtenay. He retired from the Comox Valley in 1987 and moved to Nanaimo where he continued to practice optometry doing locums in Northern BC and a part-time practice in Victoria.
He was an active member of the community and had a passion for golf, music, travel, gardening, and restoring old cars.
