Dorothy passed away in hospital in Nanaimo after a short stay. She was born in Regina and moved to Nanaimo with her husband James in 2002.
She is survived by husband James of 70 years, daughter Noreen of Nanaimo, daughter Laura of Claremont, California and sister Joie Koster of Nanaimo.
She was predeceased by brother James of Thunder Bay and two sons Gary and Timothy.
Dorothy was a devoted stay at home wife and mother. She was a faithful Christian all her life and attended daily Mass every Sunday and as many weekdays as possible from the time she was a young girl through all her adult years until her health dictated she watch the daily TV Mass at home with James.
Dorothy was a dedicated community volunteer as a member of a number of organizations including the Catholic Women's League in Regina, President of the Regina Lioness Club and President of Telephone Visiting Society in Nanaimo.
She was dearly loved by her family and everyone she
became associated with during her lifetime.
