Dorothy was born 97 years ago in Terrace, BC, and spent her early years on a farm in Longview, Alberta. Dorothy and her husband, Fred had retired to White Rock, BC. She passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the age of 97 years. Dorothy is remembered as always ready for fun and adventure, cheerful and positive, a gracious host, laughing easily, strong and resilient, humble, accepting, generous, thoughtful, and kind.
She is fondly remembered by her children, Linda White and Donald (Eleanor) Redfern, and stepchildren Steve (Suzanne) Edwards, Anita Edwards and Adam (Myra) Edwards; sisters, Marg Rama and Marilyn Kowalski; brother, Dan Watt; sister-in-law, Stella Watt; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, her son David Redfern and her stepson Michael Edwards, as well as her brothers Gordon and Douglas Watt, and her parents Bill and Belle Watt.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Westside King’s Church (3939 69 Street SW).
