In loving memory ~
Donald William Lawley passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Chilliwack, B.C. at the age of 80 surrounded by his family. He was born in Trail, BC on June 8, 1941.
Don is survived by daughter Cheryl, son Greg (Wendy) Lawley, and Grandchildren, Alyssa and Katrina Lawley, Kristi and Devin Gosick, Adam Colman, Delton Knox, niece/nephew Donna and Larry (Debbie) Jorgensen and great-grandchild Ashlyn Knox.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley, sisters Marilyn Jorgenson and Donna Lawley, and parents, William and Helen Lawley.
Don worked his whole career for the Bank of Montreal with stops in Prince George, Salt Spring Island, Kelowna, and Ladner. He moved with his young family to Agassiz in 1975 to become the Agassiz Bank of Montreal Branch Manager. He worked in Agassiz until 1986 when he became the commercial account manager at the downtown Chilliwack branch. Don retired from the bank in 1996.
Don started curling and golfing at a young age in Trail. He was a member of the Harrison and Chilliwack Curling clubs from 1975. Don loved to travel- especially after his first trip to Europe in 1988 with Shirley and made many trips over the next 30 years. Don and Shirley traveled extensively in their RV and spent many winters in Arizona and California golfing and traveling with friends. Don was a season ticket holder of the Chilliwack Chiefs and enjoyed events at the Chilliwack Cultural Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 29 at 1:00 PM at the Chilliwack Curling Club, 45550 Spadina Ave, Chilliwack, B.C.
