It is with great sorrow the family announce the sudden passing of Donald Keith Woolsey on September 20, 2022 in Kelowna, BC.
Don is survived by his loving wife Vallie and her son Ted Arnold, brother in-law John (Ester) and niece Sherri (Greg). He is also survived by his four children, Rod (Sheri), Tal (Adele), Val (Marshall), Theresa (Dave), with his first wife Lyla.
They were together 50+ years until Lyla went home to the Lord in February 2010.
Don leaves behind seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was one of nine children living on the farm in Saskatchewan.
He is survived by four siblings, Neil (Dorthea), Norma (Jim), Gerald (Aggie), and Dianne (Bob).
Don was an active member of the Fraternity Order of Eagles for 45 years. He enjoyed travelling, loved to entertain and spent many enjoyable hours playing cards with friends and was an avid golfer. He was a super hockey fan and proud supporter, season ticket holder for many years for the Vernon Vipers.
He was a man of few words, kind to others and truly devoted to his family. Don and Vallie cherished many happy years together and his passing leaves a huge emptiness in her world as well as his families life.
