August 22, 1931 – February 10, 2021
Donald (Don) Edward Vander Ploeg passed away at home on February 10, 2021 at the age of 89 surrounded by family.
Don was born and raised in Estevan Saskatchewan and it was there that he started his career with The Bank of Montreal.
This career saw him posted to small towns throughout Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Kitimat and finally to White Rock B.C., where he retired in 1986.
While in White Rock Don was an avid golfer and a member of Aircrew Association. Don relocated one final time to settle in Nanaimo B.C. Don is predeceased by his first wife Joyce and leaves behind his wife Julia, son Garry (Jeanie), daughter Gwen (David), four Grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren.
Don will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends across the Country and around the World. No services are planned by request.
