Dona Mae Andrews

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dona Mae Andrews on November 23, 2022 at 100 Mile Hospital.
She was Born June 5, 1945 in Mission B.C. Dona is survived by her children Ken Stainthorpe & John Stainthorpe of 100 Mile, Lynda Maki of B.C., and stepson Edwin Andrews Jr. of Watch Lake. Sister Doris (Nels) Whatley of Salmon Arm, grandchildren Kathleen, Charlie, Melissa, & Ben and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1st husband Charles Stainthorpe and 2nd husband Edwin Andrews Sr.
Dona was a long time member of the Millsite Lodge/Fischer Place Auxiliary and loved helping the residents, fundraising and the deep lasting friendships she made.
Dona was also a member of the Forest Grove Legion #261 where she loved to play Bingo and make friends. The family would like to thank the nurses & staff of 100 Mile Hospital as well as Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Devlin for their care and dedication.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Millsite/ Fischer Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held December 11th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Grove Legion. We welcome all who knew her to come and join in remembering her fun-loving, friendly life.
