1964-2023  ~  With broken hearts, the family of Darrin Drager wish to announce his sudden passing on August 30, 2023. In the arms of his adoring wife and partner of 27 years, Robin, he peacefully slipped away into Gods loving hand and left his family to mourn the devastating loss of an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
Darrin was born to Dan and Donna Drager in Stratford, Ontario. On a cold December night, the warmest of hearts entered the world.
Darrin spent a few years at the family farm before moving to Chilliwack in 1972 where he made friends wherever he went, growing up in Rosedale and surrounding areas eventually he met his true love and soulmate at Lindell Beach and they were inseparable from the moment they met, Darrin always said his life began the day he met Robin and together they had 3 wonderful sons who cherished their dad and his wonderful ways.
Darrin was an exceptionally talented man who loved skiing, dirt bikes, music, cars, laughter, and family, he was a skilled craftsman who finished concrete for 40 years all over the Fraser Valley and beyond.
Darrin leaves behind a countless number of family and friends including his son Dustin (Rachael)and granddaughter Kamryn, his daughter Jenna (Steven) and grandson Jake, his wife Robin and their teenage boys Dennis, Travis, and Carson, Sisters Julie (Frank), Virginia (Chris) and brother Michael (Jade) as well as so many special nieces and nephews and extended family who loved him very much.
Darrin’s spirit and infectious laughter will live in our hearts as long as we who are left remember what an incredible person he was longing for the day when our Lord and Saviour brings us all home.
Darrin was predeceased by his mother Donna who he missed every day. The family would like to thank all of those who supported and encouraged us through this tragic time with their messages of love and support.
A memorial service for Darrin will be held on October 1 at 2 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Chilliwack.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever believed in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
