1952 – 2015

Craig Dougan of Armstrong passed away on Saturday August 15. After retiring from the military, he spent a year with the Air Cadets based in Salmon Arm. He was drawn back into his military profession as an EOD (Explosive ordnance disposal) technician, but this time as a private contractor. He returned to Iraq for two years, Afghanistan for four years, as well as other places in Sudan, the United States, and around the world. Sadly, he leaves behind his wife; a daughter (36) and her husband who live in Florida; a son (32) and his wife who live in Alabama; a son (32) and wife who live in Armstrong. He had a total of eight grandchildren. Craig was 63 years young. A memorial service will be held for him on Friday at 2 pm at the Zion United Church (2315 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Armstrong, BC).
