In Loving Memory 1961-2022 ~
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Colleen on Friday January 21st 2022. Colleen was born in New Westminster and moved to the Comox Valley in 1963 where she graduated from GP Vanier Secondary school in 1979, she was well known there for her participation on many sports teams.
She continued with her love of athletics by playing on many community sports teams over the years.
Colleen later furthered her education in Vancouver becoming a certified pharmacy technician.
Colleen is survived by her parents Noel and June Chaboteaux, her sons that she loved very deeply Cole (Kylie) Gagne, Clay (Caitlyn) Gagne, Cameron Gagne, grandchildren Matthias and Lilah, brother Murray (Teresa) Gagne, sisters Jennifer (Jessy), Nikki (Gary), Dawn (Kerry) as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her sister Lori Gagne, father Francis Gagne, uncle Maurice Chaboteaux, grandparents Sylvain and Jenny Chaboteaux, George and Mary O'Leary.
Colleen will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, compassion and amazing sense of humour. She loved camping and setting off on adventures always singing to her favorite music but most of all she loved her family and would do anything for them.
Colleen, we will forever hold you in our hearts and remember you often for all the fond memories you have left us with.
