In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sorrow that we have to share the loss of our beloved mother, Caroline Katherine Skidmore, at Vernon Hospice House on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Carol, as she was known to all, left us after a courageous fight with cancer. Carol was born in Cabri, SK and was the youngest of 13 siblings, all predeceased.
Beloved wife of Stanley for 43 years, predeceased.
Her absence will be felt by her children, Jim (Marie), Lynn (Tim), and Lyle (Carolyn). She was a proud grandmother to Brandi (Adrian), Kristene (Andy), Rachel and family, Roger and family, Jaymie (Mike), Joshua (Esther), Megan, Alexander (Jennica), Christina, and a great-grandmother of 10.
Carol will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews and those who became family in her heart.
If you had the pleasure of meeting Carol, you were never forgotten by her; she made everyone feel welcome and a part of her family.
The family would like to give thanks for the caring and compassionate care given by the staff at the Vernon Hospice House.
Please join us at a gathering to remember Mom on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, from 4-6 p.m. at Lincoln Lanes, 3510 25th Avenue, Vernon, BC.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Carol's memory to the North Okanagan Hospice Society or a charity of your choice.
Cremation and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
