Carla Davies
Carla Davies passed peacefully away, in the arms of her beloved granddaughters Kira and Kayla, at the Cowichan Hospice, on August 11, 2023. She is survived by her ever-loving husband Jeff, daughter Devon Shortreed (William) and son Gareth Davies (Lisa), also her mother Jean Thomas and brothers Ward and Wade Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carla worked tirelessly for the Cowichan Dragon Divas until mobility issues prevented her from entering and paddling the Dragon Boat. Carla will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Special thanks to Doctors Barr and Masuda, and the Cowichan Hospice. Carla will be sadly missed.
