In Loving Memory ~
With a heavy heart the Ford family has lost their beloved charismatic elder. Calvin Ford has moved on to greener pastures after almost 88 times around the sun. After enjoying a nice breaky & coffee, he passed peacefully on a Monday morning.
Known as Cal to most friends and family, and father to Murray (Adelle) & Michael (Lindsay).
Calvin is also survived by Grand Children Tristan, Savana, David, Ella-James and Lleyton.
Calvin was born and raised in Trail BC. He moved about the world and the province working as a machinist and met wife Aleen (1942-2020) in Dawson Creek. They were married in 1972 and moved to Vernon shortly after.
Many summer days were spent at the Kalamalka Country Club. Calvin was very active and enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf, and playing hockey.
Calvin was a teacher for many years having taught at Charles Bloom, W.L. Seaton Secondary, and Fulton. Many of his past students often remind the family how much they enjoyed taking his classes.
