February 24, 1944 - March 19, 2023
It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Milt Pollard on March 19, 2023.
He was born in Vancouver on February 24th, 1944, and raised there, by his loving mother Olga Pollard (pre-deceased). He is survived by his best friend and longtime roommate Kathy Milford, daughters Marcy Labounty, Angela Dimitriadis, and Tammy Vaadeland, and son Gregory Manke and by his grandchildren, Melissa, Jasper, Katerina, Thomas, Gregory, and Shane, and his great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lily, Ariel, and Lucien.
Milt spent his life giving and volunteering for many years with search and rescue, and supporting Veterans in many different capacities. Anyone that knew him will never forget his deep husky voice, crooked tooth grin, and sparkling eyes. He was a private man that learned to live his life his way, being an only child to a hard-working single mom.
Milt loved working on his vehicles and took great pride in keeping them pristine. He spent his retirement living his dream riding the road. Milt loved the road, his bike, and the many Rallies he attended.
Milt made many friends along the way including John and Mark who have been amazing with all the support they have given.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially Kathy, all the family, and all his friends. We hope the wind will blow softly as he rides and that the wind whispers in his ear how much we love and miss him.
