July 29, 1961 - March 27, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we share that our dear Bradley Allen Moores, 63, passed away on March 27, 2025.
Brad was born on July 29, 1961, in Surrey, British Columbia, to Daniel and Mary Moores. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley, in 1982, and together they raised four children. They made their home in Quesnel, BC, where they lived for the past 36 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Shirley; his children Nicole (Ryan), Shannon (Hugh), Caitlin (Steve), and Jordan (Christine); his grandchildren (with more on the way!); and his siblings Dale, Danny, and Cathy.
Brad will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, dependability, and outgoing nature—he could talk to anyone! He had a remarkable knack for knowing everything—he was our family encyclopedia and the foundation of our support system. These qualities also served him well in his nearly 40 years of public service, most recently as a Senior Project Manager with the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects before his retirement.
He grew up with a love for camping, fishing, and golfing. In recent years, he enjoyed trying out new recipes and kitchen gadgets, perfecting his smoked brisket, hosting card nights with friends, and spending time with his loved ones.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held on May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Clayton's Funeral Home located at 582 Front Street, Quesnel, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or the BC Diabetes Foundation. The family also extends heartfelt thanks to the caring medical professionals involved in Brad's care, including Dr. Obanye, the BC Cancer Agency, and everyone at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital.
