April 17, 1953 – July 15, 2023
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on July 15, 2023.
He is survived by his sister, Karen (Bernie), his foster brother, Marty, his nephews Matt, Chris (Joti), his niece, Cassandra (Dustie), great nephew and niece, Landon and Astoria and cousins, Ingrid, Renate and extended family in Canada and in Germany.
He will also be missed by his many close friends Alan, Bob, Dennis, Glen, Jerry, Ken, Phyllis, Ron, Tim, Tom, Steve and many others.
Bob grew up in Maple Ridge and lived there most of his life. His passions were hunting and fishing. Even at a young age, he actively scoured the local streams for trout. He pursued his passions throughout his life with his buddies whom he held dear. Bob happily shared his catch and his knowledge of nature with friends and family. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and spending time in the wild as well as enjoying quiet times walking and drinking coffee.
Bob is predeceased by his father Erwin, his mother Maria and his foster brother, Malcolm.
The family wishes to thank the Laurel Place and the Christine Morrison Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
A memorial for Bob will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday August 26, 2023 at the Mission Alliance Church, 34203 Dewdney Trunk Road Mission, BC
