We, the proud family of Beatrice Mawbey, sadly announce that our beloved mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother has gone to be with her heavenly Father. Mom spent her life loving and supporting her family and all those around her. Being the middle child of a family of fifteen children, Mom learned to love, listen, encourage and care for people. Raising four children of her own, nurturing children through daycare in her home, and known by ‘Auntie Bea’ or Bea Kaelble, she instilled her values and tenderness into many in the Duncan community. Bea will always be remembered as a beautiful joyful spirit, a generous volunteer, always ready to help in Sr. Scouts and at Church. Bea was an accomplished seamstress, china painter and doll maker. With God as her source, she believed God’s blessings surrounded her. Challenges were only mountains to go around or over. She is predeceased by her parents Lorenzo and Audrey Maynard, many siblings, husband, Sidney Mawbey; daughter, Evelyn Lamontagne and grandson, Daniel Garner. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families: daughter, Evelyn Lamontagne (d-2016) and her children: Denise Nelson (Greg Moench), and Michael Lamontagne; son: Cliff (Corinne) Kaelble, and their children: Lonnie (Desere) Kaelble, Jamie Kaelble (Kevin Teamer), Kevin (Holly) Kaelble; son, Wayne (Jenny) Kaelble, and their children: Chris (Georgia) Kaelble, Angela Kaelble (Trent Radcliff); daughter: Cindy (Wayne) Garner, and their children: Amanda Garner, Matthew (Victoria) Garner and Allison Garner as well as seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. We would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Dan Philipson for faithfully giving Mom the best care over many, many years. A Graveside Service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on July 18, 2023, at Mountain View Cemetery, 6494 Somenos Rd., Duncan, B.C.
