Avtar Kaur Toor

May 4, 1934 - January 22, 2022
It's with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Avtar Kaur Toor. She said her final goodbye on Saturday January 22nd, 2022. Avtar was born in Punjab India on May 4th 1934 and immigrated to Canada in 1967.
Since arriving in Canada, Avtar spent several years working at Berryland Cannery where she met many of her life long friends. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Gary (Kim), daughters: Rami (Harbans), Sindy (Bam), Sandy (Gurpaul), grandchildren Harvey, Shawn, Rocky, Jordyne, Jake, Jayden, Daiven Dillen, Kesler, Kashya as well as many great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Mohinder (Sami) Toor.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 29th at 3 pm at Fraser River Funeral Home followed by a prayer at 5pm at Mission Sikh Temple. On behalf of the Toor family we thank you for all your condolences.
