Anthony Roger ‘Tony’ Kitson, age 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Port McNeill Hospital (B.C.) after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 5, 1939 to George Richard and Elizabeth Lillian (Coates) Kitson in North Vancouver B.C. and married Norma Seed in 1956. He and his young family worked in many locations throughout British Columbia before making their home in Hope, B.C.
Tony worked in the logging industry for over 50 years as an owner/operator of several successful companies before finally retiring to sunny Los Cabos, Mexico. There he was able to finally relax and pursue his passion for boating and ocean fishing with his dear pet dog Rosco by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Richard Kitson, son Don (Candie) Kitson, grandaughters Alexandra, Michelle, Meghan and grandson Myles.
Tony was preceded by his father George in 1985, Mother Elizabeth in 1987 and his son Anthony ‘Tony’ Kitson Jr. in 1997.
