March 28, 1951 - September 12, 2022
On Monday September 12th Anthony Lee (Tony), our loving dad, brother, uncle and grandfather passed away suddenly and peacefully at Nanaimo General Hospital.
Anthony Lee was born the 4th of 7 siblings in Port Alberni B.C. on March 28, 1951.
Tony is survived by his children Joseph (Hana), Jonathan (Monica), Rosemarie, their mother Fengy and grandson Derek.
He leaves behind his sisters Boni, Diana and Lorinne, brothers Terry, Corey and Jeffrey.
As a young teenager he worked at Waterton Lakes National Park, training as a professional chef in Calgary and eventually retiring from Alberni Hospital. He later joined the family business in Coombs.
For many years he served the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as young men's president, 1st councilor and other positions within the organization. He also served a 2 year church mission in Taiwan.
We will remember his kind and caring nature, his love of family and friends and most of all his gentle spirit.
Thank you in appreciation to his team of nurses, doctors, home care helpers and medical staff from Oceanside Health Centre, West Coast General and Nanaimo General Hospital.
Viewing will be held on Saturday Sept 24th between 9:30-11:30 at Chapel of Memories, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni.
Service will be held on the same day at 12:00 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4815 Compton Road, Port Alberni, B.C.
